Jesus Christ Nature’s Designer By Pastor Roger Jaworski
Have you ever sat beneath a star-filled sky and marveled at the grandeur spread out before you? Does the sight of the colorful forest in autumn bring a warmth and joy to your heart? The complexity and beauty of the natural world is truly astounding. From the intense fusion reaction in the heart of the sun, to the intricate detail inside every cell, the wonder of creation is all around us. The Bible declares that knowledge of God is evident in his creation, so that man is without excuse for not giving Him credit. (Romans 1:20-25) Psalm 19 states that “the heavens declare the glory of God.” The Bible also makes the assertion that Jesus Christ is God and the Creator of the entire universe (John 1:1-3, 8:55-58, 10:30). When you witness a beautiful sunset and marvel at the brilliant display of light, you are witnessing Jesus’ creative genius. Tragically, amidst all the beauty of the world, we witness suffering, death and decay as well. Because of mankind’s sinful rebellion against God, the very good world that God created in the beginning (Genesis 1:1,31) has been tainted and cursed (Romans 8:22, Genesis 3). We all experience the effects of the curse of sin, and every person is born a sinner in need of a savior (Romans 3:10-18). The Good News of the Bible is that Jesus Christ came into to world to pay the full penalty for your sin once for all (Romans5:1-11, Hebrews 10:10-14). You can enter into an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ the Creator (John 6:37-40, 10:37-40, 10:27, 28). Your eternal destiny does not depend on your ability to live a good, moral life (Galatians 2:16, 3:21-25). Neither does it depend on church attendance, baptism, or the performance of religious rituals and sacraments (1 Corinthians 1:17, John 6:29, Galatians 3:13). Jesus’ payment, not man’s religion, has provided the only means of obtaining eternal life (John 5:24, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21). You can know for sure today of your eternal destiny in heaven if you repent (2 Corinthians 7:10 and place your trust exclusively in Jesus Christ’s full payment for your sin (1 John 5:19-13). The bible declares that heaven is a place more amazing than anything we could possibly imagine. The brilliance and splendor of the natural world pales in comparison to the glory of Jesus in heaven (2 Corinthians 12:1-4, John 17:24, Revelation 22:1-5). If you place your trust in Christ alone today, He promised that He has prepared a place for you forever (John 14:1,2). Please take the time to search out the verses presented here today and see for yourself what Jesus has to say about your eternal destiny. Jesus promised he will never leave you or forsake you (Romans 8:38,39). Believe the gospel today and thank God for his free gift of eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 6:23). If you have made the choice to believe the Good News, thank God that you have and eternal relationship with the Creator of the beautiful and magnificent world we live in.
